After a successful test last year, the organisation is proud to announce that it will again be possible to follow the Multihull Cup live on the internet. At each mark rounding, time and position will be taken of each competitor. This information will be transmitted to a server which will publish the information on our website.

For 2008, a number of enhancements have been implemented: it is now possible to be updated through SMS, e-mail or Windows Messenger of each mark rounding of your favorite. For a flat fee of 5 euro you can register on our website and during the race you will receive the updates the same moment they are published on the internet.

 This year we are also testing realtime tracking for individual boats. About 10 participants will receive a GPS with cellular phone which will report their position every 2 seconds. Online viewers will be able to track these participants in real time through a Google Earth interface.
